Sygn Networking

I've moved the bulk of the Sygn project around in the wiki, as part of a somewhat larger project to simply things--I'm a terrible "premature organization/optimization" kind of guy. Resist the urge.

In any case, Sygn is a project that seeks to create a system to support a distributed and federated database, using human readable structured data formats, some sort of notification system, and fine grained data filtering tools. We're still working out all the details.

Below, is a listing of the pages we've got so far. Enjoy, and we hope to work with you more in the coming weeks and months. -- tychoish

Fundamentally, our goal is to further our understanding of how people and communities use technology. Beyond this, we aim to enhance the use and experience of technology for all. Our projects address the indivudal "process" dimensions of this "cyborg interaction," as well as the full range of social, technological, and cultural implications. Watch for news of updates on our blog, or particpate in our evolving projects on the Cyborg Institute Wiki.
